Your Waterfall account is live. You can browse open investment opportunities, but you must complete identity and accreditation verification before funding a deal.
Step 2
We verify your government-issued ID to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements under U.S. financial regulations. This is a one-time step.
Why we ask: U.S. securities law requires all investment platforms to confirm investor identities. This protects you and the broader community from fraud.
You'll be guided through a short identity check. Have your government-issued ID handy — the process takes about 3 minutes.
Step 3
U.S. securities regulations require investors in private real estate deals to meet "accredited investor" criteria — generally based on income or net worth. This is verified confidentially.
Why we ask: Regulation D requires that private placement investors are financially sophisticated and can bear investment risk. We verify this once; it stays on file.
Step 4
Once both verifications are approved, you'll have full access to browse and fund open deals.
